Engineering and Design – DCE’s engineers work both in-house and onsite with customers. We have the fully integrated ability to take a project from rough concept to finished design schematics, prototype and full scale production.
DCE has five Newbury molding presses to meet all our customers’ overmolding needs in-house. We have three 30-ton presses, one 55-ton press, and one 85-ton press.

DCE’s fully equipped CNC machine shop allows us to produce our own custom molds. We can take a paper napkin sketch, turn it into properly designed CAD drawings, and deliver a prototype in a timeframe that wouldn’t be possible for a competitor using outside vendors.
With more than 30 years of prototype development and custom work, we’ve developed an extensive library of molds. This can save time and money for new customers who happen to need an overmolded product similar to one we’ve done before.
Alpha and Raptor series splice welders create a seamless, metallurgical bond between wires. Fast and secure, these welders represent the state-of-the-art in assembly technology.
Three carriage braiders enable DC Electronics to cover a wide range of applications, from precision agriculture to military.
We have a separate Class 10,000 clean assembly area, including ESD safe receiving, assembly, test, and inspection areas for full turnkey electromechanical assembly.
