The successful candidate will conduct a variety of tests on cables, wire harnesses and other electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure its function according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
Tests functional performance of cable assemblies and parts under specified conditions
Ability to read and understand documentation (Assembly instructions/Bill of Materials)
Corrects and calibrates test instruments according to specifications
Verifies that assemblies are built to customer specifications, drawings, and Bill of Materials
Understanding of the ISO 9001-2008 requirements
Set up and maintain a clean working environment at all times
Understand and follow all safety policies, codes, and procedures
Ensure that assembly instructions are completed at production sections.
Verifies parts used are correct to B.O.M. (Bills of Materials).
Verifies DC Electronics B.O.M. matches the customer B.O.M. and drawing.
Inspectors will ensure the drawings are adequate to use and that any red lining have the appropriate authorization and approvals with date.
Report discrepancies to the proper channel.
Perform 1st Article inspection and documentation.
Perform OBA (Out of Box Audits) when required.
Experience/Education Required:
3+ years experience in cable and harness manufacturing
Hand tool and equipment knowledge for testing cable assemblies
Ability to read and understand English

Excellent problem solving skills
Able to effectively collaborate in a team environment
