Amphenol DC Electronics has a fully equipped CNC machine shop on site that allows us to produce our own custom molds. Whether you are coming to us with a specified drawing or a sketch on a paper napkin, we can build to print. We have the capability to translate your concept into properly designed CAD drawings and deliver a prototype within a tight time frame. Our business structure makes it possible to maintain the material inventories and labor needed to accommodate aggressive production schedules for custom wire and cable products.

With more than 30 years of prototype development and custom wire and cable work, we have developed an extensive overmold tooling library. This incredible resource can save time and money for new customers who happen to need an overmolded product similar to one we have manufactured previously.

Consistently high quality takes commitment to a high-level process. At ADCE, we believe in “continuous improvement” throughout the company. We have invested heavily in creating a lean organization and manufacturing processes that ensure efficiency and prevent errors. From our single-piece custom cable assembly lines to our documentation and traceability procedures, we have processes in place to drive the highest levels of quality in manufacturing. The proof is in our IPC-620 Class III device certification and ISO:13485:2016 certification. We can meet stringent MQ/PQ requirements for customers who are global leaders in the medical device, robotics, semiconductor and aerospace industries.

Our Quality Council regularly reviews key data to determine if there is any need for additional resources, new processes, personnel, or equipment. We then track and monitor the progress of our improvements. The program manager and dedicated customer quality engineer collect and analyze any field related failures or complaints so the Quality Council can immediately work to determine root causes. We also maintain a comprehensive internal audit system and schedule regular audits throughout the wire harness manufacturing process. Our corrective action program immediately addresses any internal or external quality issues that may arise.
