San Jose, Calif., February 18, 2014 – Amphenol DC Electronics (ADCE), a division of Amphenol Industrial Global Operations Group (NYSE: APH) today announced the addition of a new, state of the art MOLD MAN 8200. “The new MOLD MAN 8200 further demonstrates our commitment to investing in our business by improving our capabilities and efficiency through superior technology,” said General Manager Ruben Macias Jr. “The 8200 allows us to manufacture parts using different molding materials and parameters at the same time which expands our over-mold capabilities to more complex applications.” The 8200 is the second MOLD MAN in operation at ADCE. “This equipment not only enhances our capabilities but it also increases our throughput,” noted Manufacturing Operations Manager Patrick Clow. “Depending on the part size, we can now mold up to eight cavities at the same time.”
